About Seasons
Our Founder’s Story:
Seasons Coffee + Studio was started by Rosemary Deans in 2017.
Rosemary worked as a Social Worker up to 2017, when she experienced perinatal mental illness + birth trauma with her first pregnancy + birth. Rosemary sought out other women who also felt isolated, due to lack of local support + in June 2017, hosted her first gathering of like-minded women in a local cafe.
The purpose? To have genuine conversation about the challenges of being a new parent, with no judgement. The rest is history!
The first gathering of many was born + they've been going ever since!
What began as a journey of recovery, campaigning for better perinatal mental health services in NI + the subsequent creation of what was first called ‘Centred Soul’ — a Newry based social enterprise, has since evolved into a funky public coffee house + studio space, with a mix of self care, community + connection.
Offering yoga, breathwork, sound baths + even office space for hire, we show up for whatever SEASON of life you’re in!
So what’s inside Seasons Coffee + Studio?
We’ve been told ‘It’s a vibe’ with a bright, quirky coffee house with an adjoining accessible yoga studio + two therapy rooms.
Seasons Coffee + Studio provides yoga, wellness classes, events, complementary therapy, practical + affordable talk therapy + bloody great coffee!
We support other businesses, charities + voluntary organisations through collaboration, hosting events + selling their product in store.
Seasons is for everyone AND we have a specific passion for encouraging women to amplify their voices, take up space in society + not to apologise for it! We are female founded, with a full staff team of women!
Seasons is not only a bricks + mortar building…it is a ‘THIRD PLACE’ >>> look it up ;-)

The Team’s Goal:
Remind women of their worth
You are not defined by your roles. You are not solely a mother, a child free woman, a boss, a manager, a sister, a daughter. You are not less than. You are enough, good enough, part of something meaningful, a bloody Goddess!
You deserve to have access to services, support, laughter, friendships, a community that respects the ebbs and flow of the seasons in a woman's life.
